Mr. Mooch

This handsome Gentleman in Fur entered our lives just when we needed him most. Our beloved Smokey Joe had just passed away and we were very sad. On a cold Winter morning this stray tabby started to come around and ate the day old bread and left over food that I normally take out to the crows. He was starving and very shy. So I just put the food down and every morning he was there waiting for me. He was afraid to come into the house, so I kept feeding him outside. Of course I started to give him regular cat food then and he was beginning to trust me and slowly came into the garage first where I made up a box for him with lots of warm blankets. He did not like the garage doors to be closed all the way,he always needed a way to escape if he felt like it. Slowly we began a very close friendship and one day he just wandered into our house as if he had always lived there. We named him Mr. Mooch because he just mooched his way into our hearts. Today he rules our house with a firm but velvet paw. Mr. Mooch brings us so much unconditional love and joy, we are so happy to have this wonderful companion to share our lives with.
